Today we photographed some amazing kiteboarders from all over the country at the KiteXpo in Pismo Beach, CA. The winds were howling, making for some killer sessions on (and off!) the water. These dudes and dudettes were catching some SERIOUS air–we got our adrenaline rush vicariously today! (Click here for more kiteboarding pictures from the weekend.)

We had the opportunity to join a group of photographers for a tour of Redwings Horse Sanctuary on Saturday. Amazing work they do there, rescuing abused and neglected equines, and really a great bunch of people. Check out their site, and be sure to look at the beautiful photography of Redwing’s own Forrest Tanaka and others while you are there. Definitely a worthwhile place to visit, and a great cause to donate to.
The lighting was harsh while we were photographing, and most of the horses were feeding, but we managed to get a few keepers.
